In 92 years of soccer's biggest event, a host team had never lost its opening game. Qatar was overwhelmed and humiliated in a 2-0 loss to Ecuador in the World Cup opener Sunday.

5 billion people worldwide are expected to watch this year’s tournament, according to FIFA. Here’s how to stream the 2022 World Cup:

The 2022 FIFA World Cup (U.S. Viewers) Can Be Watched In The Following Ways:

There are four ways for U.S. visitors to see all 64 games on FS1 and FOX. Hulu Live TV, YouTube TV, DIRECTV STREAM, FuboTV, Sling TV, and Vidgo are among the live TV streaming services that carry FS1 and local FOX stations. All World Cup games may also be seen live and on-demand on the FOX Sports application.

Tubi will provide live and on-demand World Cup games once they are over, but no ad-supported streaming service will stream them prior to then, so Peacock will be the streaming home for Spanish-language World Cup games. For Spanish-speaking audiences, Peacock will be the streaming home for all World Cup games.

NBCUniversal has created Peacock for Spanish-speaking audiences. For the first 12 games, all Peacock customers will have access to the game. Telemundo and Universo will both broadcast 56 matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The World Cup will be available in 4K on the Fox Sports and Fox Now apps.

Sling TV, Hulu Live TV, FuboTV, DIRECTV STREAM, and YouTube TV among others will provide 4K coverage of the World Cup. Tubi will also provide 4K viewing. You can view the World Cup with 4K resolution on a Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, or Roku device. You can only watch the World Cup in 4K on Fox through these platforms, but it isn't available online or on mobile.
